Protest and demonstrations by the Madhesi morcha cadres began here early this morning, in protest against the death of two morcha cadres in clashes with police last night.Two Madhesi morcha cadres died in the clash that took place at Bhardaha and Rupni road section of the East-West highway in Saptari. The Morcha cadres have been demonstrating at Sahid chowk, hospital chowk, hulak chowk and other areas of Lahan, burning tires and chanting slogans.Markets and shops have not opened as of yet, with the demonstrations occupying the east-west highway. Reports of similar demonstrations have also been received from Gol Bazaar, Mirchaiya and other locations of Siraha district.
