Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) is distributing 42,000 litres of petrol from 8 pumps to emergency service vehicles in the Capital on Thursday.
Security agency—Nepal Army, Nepal Police—run petrol pumps and National Trading Limited petrol pumps inside Kathmandu will be distributing the fuel.
The state-owned oil monopoly, however, informed that it will not be distributing fuel to private vehicles today.
Similarly, NOC is also distributing 96 thousand litres of kerosene oil from 32 petrol pumps. Each petrol pump will distribute 3,000 litres of kerosene oil.
