A story penned by Sikkim Culture and Heritage Minister Shri Garjaman Gurung, Direction/Story Cast By Shri Khil Gurung, Produced by Shri YK Megi and Shri Rozer Gurung, a Nepali flim ‘Tista Pari Ko Saino’ where lead roles are played by Khil Gurung, Amir Megi Gurung from West Sikkim and Unita Gurung from Nepal. According to Producer Shr YK Megi who is also a Chairman of Sikkim Government Forest Department, he told that this flim will be simultaneously released and screened across 70 cinema halls across Nepal on 25 December of this month
The gist of movie touches the in-core rich traditional and cultural practices, the way of living of people in Gorkha (Nepal) and the comparative lifestyle of people of Sikkimese Nepalese, with that a love story begins between two love birds hailing from Tista and another from Nepal, a boundary which separates two ethnic communities. Producer speaking to VOS cleared that’s it where the title ‘Tista Pari Ko Saino’ emerges from. -
