The ailing Kathmanduities are being aided by the government, distributing the logs for cooking foods. Due to the unofficial blockade and the strike in the various parts of the country, the lives of people are hardly stricken. In such state, the government was unable to provide any alternatives. However the government and the higher officials are bringing their efforts to hold talks with the concerned authorities. But that does not give any ways to the solution. In such state, the government has distributed the logs/ woods to the customers who are suffered from the crisis of the cooking gas. The Timber Corporation has distributed the woods at Balkumari from Sunday morning to the locals. The woods are also distributed from Gaushala to the locals. It is also said that each family will be provided 100 kilos of the woods at Rs. 15 per kg. Various organizations are also selling the logs and they are selling the logs at the price of Rs. 17. With an aim of providing an alternative to the crisis of the cooking gas, the government has allowed 10 trucks carrying the woods. The locals are found in the depo where the woods are sold. They have said that the availability of the logs has helped to some extend.
