The Indian actor Aamir Khan and his wife, Kiran had made the statements related to the nation’s intolerance. Both of them have commented that they wanted to leave their country for the growing rate of intolerance that is growing in the nation. In that state, the Filmmaker Ashok Pandit on Tuesday opposed actor Aamir Khan’s remark of ’intolerance and despondency’ and said that if Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao think that this country is intolerant then they are forgetting the fact that it’s the same country that made Aamir a star. Pandit added that if this country was intolerant then he would not have become a star. He further said that the actor was free to leave the country if he wished to. Aamir Khan had earlier shared his feeling in an event saying that he felt alarmed by the number of incidents depicting intolerance and that Kiran Rao suggested that they should leave the country. According to Pandit, the actor should leave the country that has helped him to introduce himself to the world. In that state, the filmmaker does not believe that the country has done any partiality with the actors. However, the filmmaker has also given the example of actor Nana Patekar who helped in helping the ailing farmers.
