This week a video of driver carelessly knocking over a couple of children has emerged. The incident took place outside a kindergarten in Guangde, east China. One of the children got straight back up again despite being mowed down by the car and pulled under its wheels . The other child also was successfully rescued within moments. From the incident, both the children has scratches on them but were unharmed.
Reports say that the incident took place on December 2nd morning. A parent was driving the rented car and was identified by his surname Sun. While the children stood in front of the vehicle, he had been parked on the spot. Although it’s not known if they were related, it is thought that they had both just been dropped off by the parent. It can be seen in the video that the boy was giving the girl a helping hand while she was trying to do up her shoe laces. The car started moving and rammed the two children to the ground, as they were bent over the shoes.
It then proceeded to drive over the two children. The boy rolled and turned under the wheel of the car. It soon came to a stop. The boy climbed out from under it as soon as the car stopped moving. The boy also seemed very shocked but his friend was still trapped underneath the rear wheel of the vehicle. The scene was filled with adults. The car had to be reversed slowly in the end to free the girl without injuring her further.
There was little force from the impact because the vehicle luckily was travelling relatively slowly. Local police also stated that the children were unharmed from the inc!*dent and were only left with a few scratches.
