Chiranjeevee Pokhrel for DC Nepal, November 23, 2015 – Nepali Congress, in a Functionaries’ Meeting Program at Banke, has decided to make some necessary changes in the newly released Bill ‘Constitution of Nepal 2072’. Meeting has accepted that it is the first time in Nepal to materialize the concept of Sanghiyata, so communities are being afraid of other communities. NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuwa says, “Sanghiyata itself is a very good achievement. Set a commission and talk to them all.” He questioned why the communities are not being called for the talk As this is the beginning phase of Sanghyata, people are afraid of many other communities. One community should not get afraid of another community according to Deuwa. Talk to all the communities. Constitution has allowed settling the case regarding simankan (area demarcation) by forming the concerned commission. Many required but unaddressed points can be addressed by talk and then amendment in the Bill according to Deuwa. He even expressed his view that the Madhesh-centric parties should immediately stop the movement. “Sitting in das-gazza (boarder), just for internal movement, is against International Law; also striking schools, stopping medicines in transit are the symptoms of climax of inhumanity.” said the meeting.
