Chiranjeevee Pokhrel for DC Nepal, Thursday, November 26, 2015 – ‘Nepal Oil Corporation does not provide oil’, ‘Oil from black market has ceased engine’- most of the public have the so and so saying. Public have been hopeless to the Corporation’s distribution. ‘INDHAN PAUNA KI TA PAHUCH HUNA PARYO, KITA PAISA (either close approach or money is required to get the fuel)’ is the strong belief of most of the public throughout the country. “Middle class lives-living vehicles’ owners are facing severe consequences of the blockade. It is said that there is stock but they have not distributed here. They have distributed only to government personnel not to general public. Fuels are being blacked. We have not got oil.” says a person standing in the motorbike queue along the road. During the Indian blockade, very less quantity of fuel is getting entered which has caused Fuel Crisis skyrocket. On the other hand, it has given shelter to the Kalabazari doers. Nowadays, highly-paid petrol used vehicles are running on the roads of the capital. The public is aggressive telling that the Corporation has stopped distributing diesel and petrol to them. A lady standing in the queue of bike says, “In private pumps, sitting 12 hours also, there is no guarantee to get petrol.” In the mean time, the Corporation has said that it has 13 lakh litre fuel and is about to distribute to the public, soon. Spokes Person of Nepal Government Mukunda Prasad Ghimire says, “We are providing fuel to the private vehicles time and again in different lots.” Ghimire adds “From authorized petrol pumps, public can get it in fixed price. Likewise, we are preparing to distribute to private vehicle users by the next one - two days.” Corporation has completely brought the China aided petrol, however, the public have made complaints that they didn’t get the oil. Public have been saying that they should also get the China aided petrol. A new term ‘Chindhan’ has been found in Nepalese market. Public have named ‘Chindhan’ to China aided petrol as ‘Indhan’ to Indian imported fuel.
