Bungee jumping is an extreme sport and is not for faint hearted people. It is very scary. Bungee jumping is very popular in Nepal and can be done in two places that are Pokhara and Tatopani.
This is a video and the title is the first wireless bungee jumping. As in the normal bungee jumping the jumper is harnessed on their legs with rope/ wire and springs. But this is supposed to be ore of an intense bungee jumping. It requires no wires or ropes. As one of the person in the video describes that this is what happens when science meets with extreme sports.
We all learn in the 5th grade or less that the like poles of a magnet repeal and the unlike poles attracts. So the scientists take the same property of magnet to make the wireless bungee jumping possible. They set a lot of magnets on the ground and the person who jumps will also have a suit of magnet on. Both the magnets on the ground and on the man’s suit will be of same poles due to which the man will be able to elevate from the ground without getting hurt.
The video is very interesting and has been uploaded on YouTube by the IKEA Belgium on June 23, 2015. since first uploaded the video has already been viewed 7 Lakh times. The description of the video says ‘Science meets extreme sports to create the first wireless bungee jump.’
