She normally seems to surrounded with 8 or 10 people with her word thank you.Seeing her she looks alike to small child but she is young teen girl by her age. She is in wheelchair and her father is giving a backup to her.Her name is Lucky Rai, weight is 5 kg ,height is 18 inch and age is 14 years with child tone voice.This is the view of Pashupatinath of last Saturday.Being a public holiday, Pashupatinath Temple was mass out of priest.Lucky only comes on Saturday at Pashupatinath with the small beam of hopes for help of people.

Lucky was born on 2068 asar at Solukhumbu Deusa. Her father is a porter of tourists.Her body growth stopped on her 8 months.Then she got a problem on breathing and she was taken to village healthpost.But no progress was seen in her body.After that she was taken to Slukhumbu district hospital on last of shrawan,2059.Father Khim says ,”She was kept for around one months in that district hospital and returned. Again after 6 months the same problem with breathing was seen in her.Then again she was treated for 8 months but no progress was seen. Doctor consult us to take her in Kanti Bal Hospital.We brought her at kathmandu with lots of loan”. Government Facility is just for powerful person or what? Why she can’t have a treatment? On 2060 Kartik Khim walked for kathmandu and reached to Jiri.Bus could not run more because of unpredict strike.He travel upto Kathmandu then by carrying his daughter.He reached at Kathmandu on 13 days from Jiri. Lucky’s health was in critical due to those 13 days long run.Firstly, she was kept in ICU.Slowly, her health was getting stable. Khim had come to Kathmandu with loan of 1 lakhs. That amount finished within 3 months. Lucky’s treatment run for 2 years.She was discharged on 2062.But she should be examined for 8 times within a month.Khim brought all his daughter for the proper care of Lucky.She was third child of his parents.Her mother is still in Solu.

Khim recently is in rent at Attarkhel, Jorpati.Lucky wanted to read.So, she was admitted to Khagendra Nava Jiwan Bises school on 2068 in class 1.”She is good in her studies” says Khim.She is carried by her father or her big sister for her school.Saturday is her holiday and they go for Pashupatinath with hope of some amount as a help. Lucky could not to walk. Doctor says that if is taken to Delhi and get treated then she could walk.But her economic problem will not let her to go for Delhi. “More than 10 lakhs has been invested for her treatment. But Government has not given a penny.We are begging money and making atreatment” khem says.Khim would be doing a porter job in his hometown Solu and making a live of his family if not this problem has been occured.Today he is begging a money by showing his daughter which makes him so sad. The money collected from begging has been deposited in Lucky’s name in the bank.Lucky is mentally strong though physically not well.She is also hopeful.She says,”I want to be a doctor. I want to show the world that I am a Lucky”.

Her poor economic condition is the main problem for her treatment of Delhi.She is compelled to say thank you on her holiday for giving some penny amount. Health and education is a human right.And this right is also available in our Government.When will Lucky will be lucky enough to say “Thank You Government”.
