Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Poverty Alleviation Of Nepal Chitra Bahadur KC has warned that the country would not exist if the Madhes will be separated from Pahad. In a program arranged in Kathmandu, Chitra Bahadur KC has said that the country would not exist if the Madhes wil be separated from Pahad, showing that Pahad is directly dependent on Madhes. He even said that the reason of separating Sunsari, Morang, Kanchanpur, Jhapa, Kailali from the rest of the country. KC too made it apparent that the Tarai could not be separated from Hills, stating that it is unacceptable.“We cannot demarcate the borders to serve anyone’s wills,” he said, “We do not do anything that would harm integrity and sovereignty.” Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Chitra Bahadur KC, said Nepal would not exist if theTarai region was separated from the hills in demarcation of federal units.KC made a remark about such division would be unacceptable for the government as Tarai, hills and mountains are interdependent.
